About highlands Youth Lacrosse

The Highlands Lacrosse Association is a volunteer program that supports the growth of lacrosse in our community. We represent players and coaches from the towns of Allendale, HoHoKus, Midland Park, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, and Waldwick. HLA offers clinics for boys and girls in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade, and supports clinics and team play for grades 3-8.

As a volunteer program, we rely on the generosity of our parents who donate their time to coach and support our teams. If you would like to volunteer we can use your help!

Our costs are supported by our registration fees, our team store, and donations. The majority of our costs are fields, refs, tournament fees, and league fees. As a volunteer program we do not pay our coaches unless we cannot find volunteers.  We make every effort to keep the costs to play lacrosse approachable for all families in our community. If you have any difficulty buying equipment or with registration fees please email HLA at brian.robinson.17@gmail.com. We have a no questions asked support policy to help you play lacrosse.

Above all, we expect our players, parents and coaches to conduct themselves with great sportsmanship and positivity. Our actions represent who we are as a community. Any violations, abuse, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
